Hi! My name is Kathleen Sposato and I'm excited to share my sincere interest in serving on the Board of Education. As a Pomfret resident, Business Owner, and active member of our school community, I am deeply invested in the success of our students and the overall quality of our education system.
With two children currently enrolled in our local schools and four others whom I’ve proudly raised into adulthood, I bring a unique, parent-centered perspective to the table. I understand the challenges families face and the importance of thoughtful, student-focused decision-making. I am currently serving as the PTO Secretary for the upcoming school year, a role that reflects my dedication to being involved and supporting the educational environment both in and outside the classroom. I have coached youth sports, volunteered in recreation departments, attended all field trips, and volunteered at every school event that I'm able.
My passion lies in ensuring all children have access to quality education, supportive programs, and opportunities that help them grow into capable, confident individuals. I bring with me not only a deep-rooted commitment to our schools but also strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills that would be valuable on the board.
I would be honored to contribute my time, energy, and perspective to help shape the policies and direction of our school district. Thank you for your consideration.
