Montville and Pomfret both missed the mark when it comes to transparency, accountability, and basic public communication. With the 2024-2025 fiscal year audits still not completed, and the public being left to file Freedom of Information requests just to get information that should already be available, taxpayers deserve answers.


Pomfret cancelling the last two Board of Selectmen meetings and blowing through a third audit extension without any public explanation is not acceptable. Trust isn’t given to elected officials — it’s earned through honesty, timeliness, and open government.
